Project Description
This project involved the full production of a Matterport-powered virtual tour for the historic State Silk Museum in Tbilisi, Georgia — one of the oldest silk museums in the world, originally established in 1887. The goal was to digitize the museum’s unique architectural space and exhibits to make them accessible to global audiences through an immersive, high-fidelity VR experience.
The entire tour — from 360° photography to Matterport processing and publishing — was produced independently by me using professional Matterport equipment and post-production tools.
Key highlights:
-
Fully navigable 3D tour with smooth transitions
-
Accurate spatial capture of rare exhibits, display rooms, and interiors
-
Integrated museum branding and multilingual support
-
Web and VR headset compatibility for diverse audience reach
The tour is designed to support the museum’s mission in promoting cultural heritage and digital access, while also serving as a powerful educational and promotional tool.
